Alabang drug case, Cong. Roilo Golez questions why defense lawyer drafted order for signature of DOJ secretary to release PDEA detainees ( Alabang Case )

In the 6 January 2009 congressional hearing on the Alabang drug case, it was revealed that the defense lawyer of the accused drafted a release order and submitted it to the Secretary of Justice for his signature. Congressman Roilo Golez deplored this practice and asked whether there was an ethical issue involved here. Chief State Prosecutor answered “maybe.”
