Montgomery: Some of the attorneys for defendants in the Alabama bingo corruption trial made statements and fielded questions from the media. Those that spoke with media in front of the Montgomery Federal Courthouse after Gilley’s guilty plea were attorneys for former Country Crossing spokesperson Jay Walker, Senator Quinton Ross, and Ronnie Gilley. Although attorneys for Milton McGregor and other defendants were present at the plea hearing before Judge Wallace Capel, they left without comment.
